BSM & HIMT College are conducting a recruitment drive for DNS Cadets. Applications are invited from candidates who have successfully completed their 12th in PCM and who are aspiring to become Deck Cadets onboard BSM vessels.

Candidates who are shortlisted by HIMT need to complete the HIMT Admission Formalities- Initial Token Fee Payment of Rs. 10,000/- (Refundable- Check Refund Policy Below)

Step 5

Candidates completing the HIMT Formalities will be sent to BSM for their selection Process

Step 6

Students being selected by BSM will commence their DNS course in August 2025.

Step 7

Start your Merchant Navy Career as a BSM Cadet after your Presea training August 2025 to July 2026.

HIMT is offering a Rs. 25,000/- Discount in Course Fees for all Female Candidates

Notes

HIMT will shortlist 30 participants basis the HIMT Written Exam, CV Evaluation and PCM Scores.
Candidates who are shortlisted by HIMT need to complete the Initial Token Amount Payment of Rs. 10,000/- Within 48 hours (Note: This is the maximum timeline and the timeline will vary depending on the interview slot. Please note the timeline and selection is purely at the discretion of HIMT). Candidates who fail to complete the same will be replaced with other candidate on the waitlist.
Once candidates pay the initial token amount of Rs. 10,000/- (part of the total course fee), candidates will be added to a WhatsApp Group for discussion of BSM Test & Interview.
Incase candidate fails to clear BSM selection process, they will get a FULL REFUND of the Initial Fees paid except Application Fee (Application Fee is non- refundable). The refund timeline will be as per our cancellation & refund policy.
The Application Fee paid is non-refundable
As per D. G. Shipping Guidelines, passport is mandatory to join the course.
Caution Deposits are refundable at the end of the course after adjustments of laundry charges & damages, breakages etc., if any.
Fees paid is forfeited if withdrawn from the Course after the course commencement, or after being selected by a company.
⁠Admissions are subject to meeting the mandatory requirement of course and BSM decision regarding selection is final.
⁠All fees can be paid online. We offer Net Banking, UPI, Credit Card, and Debit Card. ⁠Cash/Cheque payments are not entertained.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Full Refund : You are eligible for a full refund of the initial amount paid if you do not pass the HIMT or Company Exam or Interview.

Forfeiture of Initial Amount : The initial amount paid will be forfeited if:

You withdraw after your details have been sent to the Sponsoring Company,
You withdraw after being shortlisted in the Assessment or Interview.

Note:

Application Fee is non-refundable.
Refund requests must be submitted via email to admission@himtcollege.com.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days of receiving the cancellation email.
