Make a Demand draft for Application Fees Rs 1000/- (Non-refundable) in favour of ‘HIMT COLLEGE’ payable at Chennai. Please write your name, Course name and contact details on the reverse of the Demand Draft. Duly filled application form along with original Demand draft and appropriated documents to be sent to city centre office through post/courier.

During panel interview Entrance exam will be conducted.
Question Paper Pattern :
The HIMT Common Entrance exam shall have 50 objective types multiple choice questions each carrying one mark which are to be attempted during the 1 hour duration. The question paper pattern by course wise as follows:

GA – General Aptitude, LR – Logical Reasoning, QT – Quantitative Test
The Question paper will be only in English. There are no negative Marks.
Above exam is only applicable for GME, GP Rating, ETO & OCCP Candidates. Candidates applying for B.Tech (Marine Engineering) / B.Sc.(Nautical Science) Course need to appear for a COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) conducted by the INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY (IMU). Please visit the IMU website (www.imu.edu.in) for details and for the modalities of appearing for the CET.
Interview will be taken by a panel comprising of Chief Engineers and Captain Superintendent. During interview, verify your original certificates, Communication skill.
Medical Test :
Once document verification is completed, need to complete medical examination from any of the DGS approved doctors
As part of the eyesight requirements, for all courses, the candidate must not have Colour Blindness.
Final Selection
Subject to your meeting our entry requirements for the course, if you selected immediately need to submit Minimum course fees of Rs. 50,000/- through Online Transfer, in favor of ‘HIMT COLLEGE’, payable at Chennai or Debit/Credit Card/Neft Payment. After fees paid, you will get Admission Form with course reporting time and venue details along with List of items to be brought in while report. Before joining the course full fees to be paid in Demand Draft
