BSM & HIMT College are conducting a recruitment drive for Electro Technical Officers. Applications are invited from candidates who have successfully completed Electrical Engineering and who are aspiring to become Future Electro Technical Officers onboard BSM vessels.

ELIGIBILITY

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION	AGE LIMIT	MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Should be a graduate (Details of degrees as below) 12th Std English & PCM – Above 65% Degree Aggregate- Above 60% (with all semester Marksheets) Diploma with Aggregate- Above 60% (If Lateral Entry and not done 12th Std) Degree Aggregate- Above 60% (with all semester Marksheets) 1- The Degree must be in the following fields: Electrical, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication/ Communication, or Electronics and Instrumentation 2- The degree must be recognized by the government or AICTE. Eye Sight:

Notes

⁠⁠BSM will select up to 20 candidates in this recruitment drive
Once candidates pay the initial token amount of Rs. 25,000/- (part of the total course fee), candidates will be added to a WhatsApp Group for discussion of BSM Test & Interview.
Incase candidate fails to clear BSM interview, they can join the next available batch (tentatively Sept 2024) as a non-sponsored candidate and can participate in placement opportunities with various shipping companies visiting during the course period, provided they meet their eligibility criteria. Our placement record for ETO for the last 3 batches has been above 90%, on average. However, please note that placements are not guaranteed and will depend on the interviewing company and your performance.
If the candidate is not selected by BSM and does not wish to continue with HIMT in the next batch, they can avail a FULL REFUND of the Initial Fees paid except Application Fee (Application Fee is non- refundable). The refund timeline will be as per our cancellation & refund policy.
The Application Fee paid is non-refundable
As per D. G. Shipping Guidelines, passport is mandatory to join the course.
Caution Deposits are refundable at the end of the course after adjustments of laundry charges & damages, breakages etc., if any.
Fees paid is forfeited if withdrawn from the Course after the course commencement.
⁠Admissions are subject to meeting the mandatory requirement of course and BSM decision regarding selection is final.
⁠All fees can be paid online. We offer Net Banking, UPI, Credit Card, and Debit Card. ⁠Cash/Cheque payments are not entertained.
